Contribute to the development of Retail strategy within the region and ensure its translation and alignment during its development and execution.
Create and seek approval of all activities effecting the functional P L like quarterly budgets, annual targets, expansion plan etc. for the regions from business heads
Develop and approve the annual business targets to the respective areas/ ABMs based on the sales targets driven by the corporate and develop store wise/ variant wise targets
Develop and approve manpower optimization strategies for the retail function
Monitor the financial performance of the stores against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
Develop and implement reporting & review mechanisms to track operational performance and ensure course correction & corrective action, as appropriate.
Provide approval on the annual plan proposed by the ABM on store
expansion in new regions and renovation of existing store based on the annual targets approved by business
Approve the ROI projections for the new upcoming stores presented

Ensure and monitor the expansion of retail stores across the region as per the targets and propose countermeasures when required
Provide support and approve budgets to enable new stores in achieving their targets
Propose alternative options in case of deviations in the expansion plans and seek approval from the RBH
Engage with partners on periodic intervals to understand the operational difficulties in the business, resolve any escalations and build relations at professional and personal level
Manage issues related to the partners within the area and escalate complicated cases to the RBH in case of support required
Approve marketing plans and budgets for regions/ stores/ franchisee in coordination with ABMs after analysing the situation
Provide exceptional approvals on interventions targeted towards improving concerned stores, franchisees or regions which would include marketing support, stock accumulation, organize local events etc.
Provide inputs to the retail marketing teams to develop nation-wide schemes
Design, develop and seek budget approvals on region specific schemes for potential seasonal improvement in sales
Design, develop, approve and roll-out regional schemes during an active national scheme within the defined budgets with approval from the Regional Business Head to maximize sales
Drive sales culture across all stores under the assigned region; conduct regular visits to resolve administrative issues in the assigned region
Ensure smooth execution of the annual incentive schemes for the store staff (eg- retail champs) designed by the retail operations team
Conduct quarterly review to assess the effectiveness of the incentive scheme and propose course corrections accordingly
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in executing the pro lip incentive schemes across the division with coordination from the HR teams
Ensure customer complaints in the regions are as per the defined SLA and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for quick resolution of escalated customer issues
Provide budgetary approval for resolving critical customer issues
Ensure implementation of the approved lean practices across the stores and provide adequate support to the Customer Experience
Executive in training, conducting kaizen mela, introducing recognition programs etc.
Conduct training need identification exercise for all ABMs and coordinate with the HR team to execute trainings
Ensure new product introduction training to relevant stakeholders in coordination with the HR team
